Eden Park isn’t just a stadium. It’s a symbol. A cultural cornerstone.

A place where New Zealand’s fiercest sporting dreams come alive, from historic All Blacks test matches to unforgettable concert nights under the lights. So when our WVH Acupanel® range was selected for a special installation inside this iconic venue, we knew we were contributing to something bigger than just wall design; we were becoming part of a national legacy.

Crafting Quiet Purpose for a National Stage

The first completed space in this multi-phase project is what Eden Park has affectionately dubbed its “secret speakeasy” VIP room - a green room turned into a private hideaway. Designed to offer both intimacy and versatility, the room features Acupanel® Acoustic Wall Panels and a dark, understated entrance that subtly signals something special within. It’s a space for special guests, performers, and dignitaries, offering a calm and considered environment away from the energy of the stadium.

“Our secret ‘speakeasy’ VIP room, designed to exude an aura of exclusivity for special events while also serving as a green room for concerts…”

Progress in Motion: Over 600 Panels & More to Come

This is no small install. With over 600 Acupanel® panels required and events constantly on rotation, Eden Park’s installation timeline has stretched over the past year, scheduled only during event-free windows. However, progress is steadily underway. The initial VIP room is complete, and Eden Park has 700m² of WVH Acupanel® slat wood wall panels in storage, ready for future stages that promise to further elevate the stadium's interior offerings.

Where Design Meets Legacy

To be featured in Eden Park, a place so deeply woven into the cultural fabric of New Zealand, is an incredible honour for WVH. It’s a testament to how modern design can complement storied architecture and how functional acoustic solutions can live in harmony with heritage.

As the stadium gears up for what comes next, we’re proud to be part of its evolving story.
