This is a real cut from our Flutto Oak Zigzag panel, 30cm by 13.5cm. Flutto is a flexible tambour panel, which means it bends around convex curves, columns and curved joinery that a rigid slat panel cannot follow. Zigzag is a directional profile, so it changes appearance as you move past it. That movement is impossible to judge from a photograph, which is exactly why this one is worth sampling.

About the Flutto profiles

Flutto comes in several profiles, and they read very differently on a wall.

Ridge is the deepest, with the strongest shadow line.

Mini-Ridge is a finer version of the same, better suited to smaller areas.

Zigzag is a directional profile that changes appearance as you move past it.

All of them flex. If you are wrapping a convex curve or a column, this is the range to sample.

How big is the sample?

Each Flutto sample measures 30cm long by 13.5cm wide, cut from a real panel.

That is large enough to judge the profile, the shadow line and how the panel flexes in your own hands, which is the part no photograph gets across.

Most sample orders placed before 11am AEST on weekdays are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after that, or on weekends, go out the next business day.

How tight a curve will Flutto bend around?

Flutto is a flexible tambour panel designed to wrap convex curves and columns. The tightest radius depends on the profile and the substrate, so if you have a specific curve in mind, send us the measurements and we will tell you whether it will work before you order.

Is Flutto real wood?

Yes. Flutto uses a real wood veneer on a flexible backing, which is what lets it bend without cracking the face.

Can I order more than one sample?

Yes. Most people order two or three to compare profiles side by side, which is the only real way to judge how each one throws a shadow. Every sample ships free.

Are samples refundable?

Samples are non-returnable. At $4.99 with free shipping they are priced to be a low-risk way to check the finish before committing to a full order.
