This is a real cut from our Grey Acupanel, 30cm by 12cm, not a printed colour chip. The Colour range uses a matt-touch finish that stays flat under artificial light instead of reflecting it, which is why it photographs and reads so differently to a gloss surface. Worth seeing in the room it is destined for. Slats are mounted on an acoustic felt backing that helps soften echo.

About the matt-touch finish

The Colour range is finished in a soft matt rather than a gloss or satin. It absorbs light rather than bouncing it, so the colour stays true across the wall and does not glare under downlights or in a bright room.

It is also far more forgiving of fingerprints than a gloss finish, which matters on a surface people will walk past every day.

How big is the sample?

Each Acupanel sample measures 30cm long by 12cm wide, cut from a real panel.

That is large enough to judge colour and the slat profile in your own light, and to hold up against flooring, joinery or paint before you decide.

Shipping information

Samples are $0.99 each, one per colour. Shipping is a flat $4.99 Australia-wide.

Orders placed before 11am AEST on a business day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 11am, or on weekends and public holidays, are dispatched the next business day.

You will receive tracking details once your order leaves our warehouse.

Will the colour look the same on my wall?

Yes. The Colour range is manufactured for consistency, so what you see in the sample is what you get across a full wall. Lighting will change how it reads though, which is exactly why it is worth seeing the sample in the actual room.

Can I mix colours and wood finishes on one wall?

Yes. They share the same slat profile and mounting method, so they sit flush alongside each other. Order both samples and hold them together before deciding.

Can I order more than one sample?

You can order one of each colour. Most people order two or three to compare finishes side by side in their own light, which is the only way to judge a colour properly.

Are samples refundable?

Samples are non-returnable. At $0.99 each, they're a low-cost way to check a finish before a full order.
