With a dedicated surgical suite and highly skilled veterinary surgeons, Williamstown Veterinary Hospital can perform a wide range of soft tissue surgeries.
Our sterile surgeries are performed in an isolated surgical room that has a controlled environment. Examples of soft tissue surgery include routine desexing, lump removal, eye surgery and abdominal surgery. The surgeon and attending nurse wear a sterile gown and gloves along with a surgical hat and mask.
Cat fight abscesses, some dog fight wounds and oral surgery (dentistry) are some examples of non-sterile soft tissue procedures. These surgeries are performed in a completely different area to the sterile procedures to maintain the highest level of sterility and to avoid post operative infections.
Soft tissue surgery can be performed by one of our surgeons on any day from Monday to Friday.
