Hi, my name is Veronica. I completed my veterinary degree in 2000 in Mexico City, and I have worked in small animal private practice since then. In 2003 I came to Australia to do my Masters of Veterinary Studies in Diagnostic Imaging at The University of Melbourne. I returned to Mexico City where I started my own Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound business. My aussie husband Craig brought me back to Melbourne in 2006, and I have worked in different areas like research at The University of Melbourne in the development of vaccines against tapeworm parasites, and assisting specialist veterinary surgeons in Melbourne while I was preparing for the Australian National Veterinary Exam, which I passed in 2008. In 2009 I started working in Williamstown Veterinary Hospital, and I also gained my membership (by examination) of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists (Radiology Chapter).
I have a lovely cat called Mateo that is like a dog (I don’t remember doing plastic surgery on him!)
I look forward to meeting you and your pets at Williamstown Veterinary Hospital.
