Hello all, my names Jo Sutherland, and I am a newly recruited staff member of Williamstown Vets. I have recently moved down from Mount Isa, in Queensland of where my career to becoming a vet nurse all began. I have now been working in the animal industry for four years and am currently studying to finish my diploma of vet nursing.

This is a photo of my only animal of late, of which there have been many, from rabbits, ferrets, mice, cats and dogs. Her name is Buddy, and she is as old as my career. Buddy was presented to us very ill, to be then diagnosed with parvo, and hookworm. I nursed her daily until she became well enough to go home, and fell in love with her (as I do with all the animals), so fortunately for me the owners could no longer care for Buddy so she became one of the family.
